Two of the past three mornings, we’ve had some photogenic sunrises. One was very vibrantly colored, the other was notable for the dense fog. The third was just cloudy, so I didn’t take a picture. C likes when they’re colorful too, but still calls everything a ‘sunset.’ I’ve been trying to teach him east and west, but he hasn’t quite gotten it yet. There are probably adults that don’t know east from west either. Aside from the directional difference, there are other ways of distinguishing that he hasn’t gotten yet either. Like, there’s no way we should be up in plenty of time to even see the sunrise…
