I finally had enough snap peas to make something substantial with, which in this case, was last night’s dinner.
Just saute with some shrimp and a little salt and pepper for just a few minutes; you definitely don’t want to overcook. Boil some linguine, and cook up a light white wine cream sauce (milk, flour, butter, white wine, S & P). Finally, toss it all together in a bowl, and dig in!
It was a fast, easy, and simple preparation, which, at least in my opinion, is often the best way to do fresh-picked produce. You want to get the full flavor and feel out of your fruits and veggies, so look for something simple to complement it, rather than overwhelm it.
